Cheryl Patrice Derricotte has an extensive background in the arts and community development. Originally from Washington, DC, she moved to the bay area in 2011. In Fall of 2016, Cheryl became a member of the “Developing Environments,” co-op, the oldest legal live/work residence for artists in San Francisco. Cheryl received the Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in May 2015 and was recently named one of two inaugural Emerging Artists at the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco.
